There’s little to do with Poe’s poem in this classic horror spoof written by Richard Matheson and directed by Roger Corman. The story concerns Dr. Erasmus Craven (Vincent Price), a sorcerer who agrees to aid a fellow magic man (Peter Lorre) who’s been turned into a raven, leading to a duel of wizardry against the sinister Dr. Scarabus (Boris Karloff).
