Strand Magazine Issue 12: Short Stories by John Mortimer, Edward Hoch, Anthony Horowitz and Interviews with Mildred Wirt Benson
The Strand’s 12th issue included a Rumpole of the Old Bailey story by John Mortimer and fiction by Edward Hoch, Anthony Horowitz, H.R.F. Keating and a Sherlock Holmes pastiche by Barrie Roberts.
We were proud to publish a short story by the original Carolyn Keene who penned the Nancy Drew stories—in her 90s and feisty, the author spoke about her technique in crafting young adult books which turned into classics.
